Really appreciate what you guys are doing here. I'm a recent graduate of UVM and would love to see something similar develop here in Vermont. Just curious, do you have longboarders trying to join? If so how do you address that? Thanks, Gavin
Thanks Gavin. It's always great to hear of college students and alumni from around the country who support what we are doing. We think that every college should have a skateboard club organization, and many besides ours are currently up-and-coming and doing great and creative things. The more colleges have clubs, the better the network will be and the more leverage we have to get things done, like build skateparks and skateable plazas on campuses.
For awhile we aloud longboarders to join, but as they obviously have a different agenda then us, once they got a good group together, they coat-tailed off what we were doing and started there own club.
