End of the Road... Or just the Beginning

The dawn of the Sean Burke era has begun. Sean Burke's Road to Philly ended here, with an amazing 2nd place in the World Championships of Freestyle Skateboarding. If you are not speechless after watching Sean's run then you probably do not know anything about anything. I'm not sure that I have ever seen anyone combine skating so technical with such consistency... ever. Sean Burke is a monster. Congratulations man.

P.S. Come out to NC Skate's GAME OF STATE this saturday october 16th and meet the beast for yourself. Bring your best Sharpie.

While on a trip with Dan this past weekend I had a chance to talk with Steve a bit and I found that he is willing to do whatever it takes to continue pumping boards into the roots of skating all around NC, including us here at state. Steve supports all the positive aspects of skateboarding, even if he does not benefit personally. Game of State will be held on Saturday, April 10th 12:00pm @ the flatspot, near the Free Expression Tunnel on NCSU's campus. Cost to pre-register is $3 at various skateshops around town, $5 registration fee the day of the event.
